More Craziness

So these last few weeks have been kind of crazy. It began three weeks ago. I had some health issues and had to see a doctor. Since our insurance is still through Idaho, we only have a hand full in California that we can go to. I went to this doctor from Egypt. I just couldn't understand him very well. I miss my Mormon Idaho doctors. No offense.... Then we went to get the prescriptions at Walmart. They called us over the intercom "would the owners of a Silver Corolla with Idaho license plates come to the front." Although being engrossed in our shopping, it was pretty obvious. We went to the front of the store, and they said that someone had hit our car. 

A lady was backing up in red high stilettos. Her heel got caught in the carpet and her foot was pressed down on the gas. She ran into our car and the car next to us, and then our car was pushed into this white Trail Blazer that is in the picture. We waited for over an hour for the cop to show up. She gave us expired insurance card information saying that her husband had that current ones. (We didn't find out for sure that she wasn't insured until the next morning when the insurance called us.)  Our insurance isn't covering the damage, and I don't know if the lady even got a ticket because she drove off with her husband after the cop left. Gotta love your tax dollars at work... 

From this experience, I've learned several things. 

1. Don't drive in red high heels ("In My Red High Heels" has a new meaning)

2. Frustration can make you do some interesting things (although the car would cost $4,000 to fix, Wayne beat the car until we could close the trunk and the dents aren't so bad)

3. Forgiveness is something that comes through giving it all to the Lord and letting Him take control

4. Heavenly Father puts people in our path to be angels

Kaylee and Landon drinking their milk in their chairs. If one has milk or is sitting in their chair, the other one has to. 

Vasquez Rocks- this is where the Flinstones, Bonanza, Star Trek, Zorro, and other movies were  filmed. The rocks look cool, but it wasn't really a spectacular place. 

No more monkeys jumping on the bed! Landon climbed in the crib to play with Kaylee when she woke up. 

Empty food storage cans make great drums. It didn't last very long because too many toes and heads got hurt.

My little Miss Alfalfa

They were both teething at the same time so they both chewed on teething rings. 

So blessed to have such a sweet mellow girl. 

So blessed to have a sweet rambunctious boy.
